In August 1945, Nam-bu, a Japanese collaborator, reveals the name of an independence activist, Choe Han-jung, who puts him in prison. But Choe successfully escapes, and secretly hides in Hye-ja's house, who works as a nurse at a university medical center. As Han-jung's underground organization prepares to raise an armed uprising, Park, who has a bomb, gets caught by the Japanese military police. Han-jung saves Park, and hides himself in Nam-bu's girlfriend, Mi-hyang's apartment. While she is hiding him she develops a crush on him and goes to his organization's place, and gives them information and money. Nam-bu and the military police who had been following her shoot her to death, and Han-jung is shot and hospitalized. Hye-ja, who used to love Han-jung, helps him to escape from the hospital, while the military police fall asleep while monitoring him.

Suffering from a brain tumor, Pil-ju (LEE Sung-min) is an Alzheimer’s patient in his 80s. He lost his entire family during the Japanese colonial period and when his wife dies, he initiates a plan he formulated 60 years ago. He asks his 20-something co-worker In-gyu (NAM Joo-hyuk) to chauffeur him around for a week.
“Were you always like this? Who are you, really? Are you really the one I washed dishes with?
Not knowing why he’s chauffeuring the old man around, In-gyu is captured by the security camera at a murder scene and becomes a prime suspect of the case. As the police investigation zeros in on them, Pil-ju must fight his memory loss in order to accomplish his revenge…
